SPIER Semi-trailers: The volume and weight specialists

The universal SPIER semi-trailers, including the chassis, are designed by SPIER and manufactured using the latest production technologies. They are available as one, two or three-axle versions with a level floor throughout, available in standard, mega or stepped versionsup to 39 t gross vehicle weight.

Numerous optional design variants and an extensive range of accessories make it possible to handle personalised transport tasks safely and reliably. In the transport industry, the flexibility and reliability of the vehicles used are important. From the painting or galvanizing of the chassis to the proven, to a fuel-saving aeroform superstructure system, smooth corrosion-resistant plywood walls with aluminum edging profiles, white -translucent roof made of GRP, skirting strips made of aluminium, EBS brake system and a diverse load securing options (certified load securing according to VDI 2700) you are well equipped with SPIER semi-trailers.

SPIER central axle trailer: Robust with a low dead weight

The SPIER central axle trailers were specially designed for operation in general cargo transport under difficult conditions. Doors, locks and impact buffers are designed to be particularly robust for the rough everyday use of haulage. Impact forces when approaching ramps are not only introduced into the body, but directly into the chassis. The front portal can withstand higher loads than is usual in this vehicle class. A high payload is achieved due to the low weight.

The good maneuverability and comfortable driving characteristics make the SPIER central axle trailer popular in daily use. The high stability enables minimization of maintenance and repair costs. Due to components with a longer service life, repairs are rare. Nevertheless, the central axle trailers are characterized by their ease of repair: This reduces repair times and costs. The optimization of the material quality and the surface corrosion protection (hot-dip galvanizing or color coating) provides additional security with regard to the sustainability of the SPIER central axle trailer.

The SPIER turntable trailer with SPIER Athlet box body is the excellent solution for transporting dry freight. A high payload with a large transport volume, combined with an attractive dynamic design, the SPIER Athlet offers economic and ecological advantages. Plywood is the main material used in the Athlet model series - a multi-ply wood panel coated with glass-fibre reinforced plastic.
